The short answer

Verify two separate things: the provider’s official status and the specific activity you want to attend. A provider’s appearance on a list does not approve every item it sells.

Match the identity, not just the logo

Begin with SCFHS’s institution page and its current electronic-platform list. Compare the legal or operating name and website against the seller you are using. Similar names, copied logos and old screenshots can create confusion. A row number in a provider list is not an activity approval number.

Our provider profiles link to the official list used for the review and show the check date. They do not establish a commercial partnership, transfer accreditation to Saudi CME or replace an individual activity check.

Check the exact activity

Find the full title, session dates, approved delivery mode, target professions and activity reference. Compare these against the official activity information where available through Mustamir. If an organiser gives you an approval document, check that it describes the session being sold, not a previous event or another topic.

Ask a precise question: “For this date and this delivery mode, is my registered profession included, and which activity reference covers my attendance?” A broad “yes, we are accredited” does not answer it. If details are missing or conflict, pause the purchase and request clarification. Do not interpret “accreditation pending” as already approved.

Save a small evidence pack

Before payment, save the activity page or booking confirmation, the stated hours, completion rules, final price and cancellation terms. Record the organiser’s support channel. Afterwards, keep your own attendance and assessment evidence alongside the certificate.

You do not need to publish this information or upload it to a comparison website. A private folder is sufficient. The aim is to make a later support question specific: which activity, which conditions and what actually happened. This is much more useful than a screenshot of a generic accreditation logo.
