The short answer

Use the first days to verify your balance and activity eligibility, the middle weeks for learning, and the final week for evidence and follow-up. This is a planning template, not a guarantee of renewal in 30 days.

Days 1–3: confirm the actual gap

Open your official record through SCFHS’s practitioner-service links. Note the relevant period, target and hours already recorded. Make a separate list of activities completed but awaiting clarification. Do not add them to the confirmed balance yet.

Check whether you have enough realistic study time for the remaining learning. If the gap is too large or your circumstances are complex, seek official advice promptly. A tight personal timetable does not change activity eligibility, attendance requirements or service processing time.

Days 4–21: choose, schedule and complete

Select activities with clear approval information, target professions, access dates and support conditions. Confirm the final cost before booking. Choose a workload you can complete without compromising work responsibilities or using someone else to attend or answer assessments.

Place teaching sessions, reading, quizzes and evaluations into your calendar. Keep two or three spare sessions for interruptions or revision. Check progress after the first activity so you can adjust the plan early.

A simple daily note is enough: what I intended to complete, what I actually completed and the next action. This is more informative than repeatedly changing a large hour target without recording the underlying activities.

Days 22–30: reconcile the evidence

Download completion evidence, check your name and activity details, and follow the provider’s instructions for any correction. Check the official record independently and contact the organiser about unresolved items. Retain its replies.

Your end-of-month review should distinguish completed learning, certificates received and hours checked in the professional record. Those are three different states. If an item remains unresolved, record the next action instead of marking it complete for convenience.

The planner and log on this site are private organisation tools. They do not access your account, submit an application or establish that you meet renewal conditions.
